About this file

This is a Facility Maintenance Plan template for fuel facilities at Fort Bliss AAA Ranges in Orogrande, NM. The document details maintenance requirements for various fuel system components including above-ground storage tanks, filter separators, pumps, valves, electrical equipment, and safety systems at the Dona Ana facility (Facility #8243). The template provides detailed maintenance schedules (quarterly, annual) and specific procedures for each component.

The plan includes sections for administrative information, general facility description, communication protocols, safety requirements, and a comprehensive task matrix listing all maintainable assets with their specifications, maintenance frequencies, and special considerations. Key systems covered include two aviation fuel tanks (50,000 and 20,000 gallon capacity), filtration systems, dispensing equipment, containment systems, and emergency equipment. The document serves as a maintenance tracking tool, requiring contractors to assign unique identifiers to components and document maintenance activities according to UFC 3-460-03 standards.

1. Remove the cover screws from the air eliminator cover with a 1/2 inch wrench or socket, and pull the cover, vent plate and seal ring from the housing.

2. Inspect the raised ridge of the vent port opening in the middle of the valve plate for marring or debris. Inspect the seal ring for damage.

481258243Dona AnaDifferential Pressure GaugesReceiptGammon534-30 / 0211150-20XX6-7.2Periodic calibration of this instrument is unnecessary because the graduated scale is made to match the characteristics (load/deflection curve) of the spring. If the spring loses some of its strength for some reason, the ”free length” must be shortened. Afull length spring will always provide accurate readings. This is a fundamental truth about compression springs. This spring is at its “free full length” when there is zero differential pressure; the top of the piston is then in the “zero” band of the graduated scale.Quarterly - Clean outside of gauge glass.

Check operation of contactors and relays by hand, feeling for any binding or sticking. Look for loose pins, bolts, or bearings. If the control is dirty, it should be wiped or blown clean.

Contact inspection. Check contacts for pitting and signs of overheating, such as discoloration of metal, charred insulation, or odor. Be sure contact pressure is adequate and the same on all poles; verify with manufacturer's specification. Watch for frayed flexible leads.

Contact resistance testing. On essential controls, perform contact-resistance tests with a low-resistance ohmmeter on a regular basis. Proper contact resistance should be about 50 micro-ohms. Record readings for future comparison. This will indicate trends in the condition of contacts.

Overload relay inspection. Overload relays should receive a thorough inspection and cleaning. You also should check for proper setting. No Operator Requirement
