Frequently Asked Questions

Where does GovTribe collect bids from?

GovTribe collects state and local bids directly from public procurement sources: statewide procurement sources in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, multi-buyer procurement platforms that state, local, education and special-district buyers post to, and local governments with their own dedicated sources.

Do I still need an account on each portal?

To find and track bids, no: GovTribe's search and alerts cover them. To download some files or submit a response, the agency may require you to register on its portal, and each GovTribe bid links to the original posting when one is available.

How often are bids updated?

GovTribe checks its sources for new and updated bids regularly, most of them daily.
