About this file

This file is a Performance Work Statement template for fuel facility maintenance that contains detailed asset inventories and maintenance requirements for multiple fuel system facilities at Altus Air Force Base. The template includes comprehensive equipment lists with maintenance frequencies and specifications for facilities including a military service station (#354), bulk storage tanks (#378, #379, #381), and associated components like pumps, valves, meters, and safety systems.

The document provides detailed technical specifications for maintaining each piece of equipment, including manufacturer data, model numbers, sizes, and specific maintenance procedures required at daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual intervals. Key systems covered include above-ground storage tanks up to 1,060,000 gallons, emergency shutoff systems, containment systems, fuel dispensers, filtration equipment, control valves, and fire protection systems. The template appears designed to standardize recurring maintenance procedures across fuel facilities but does not include specific contract terms, pricing, or performance requirements.

378DS-2 Bulk378 DS-2 BulkDifferential Pressure GaugesDS-2 receipt strainer DP gaugeSchultzSC-5150-300 - 30 PSIXXX6-7.2Periodic calibration of this instrument is unnecessary because the graduated scale is made to match the characteristics (load/deflection curve) of the spring. If the spring loses some of its strength for some reason, the ”free length” must be shortened. Afull length spring will always provide accurate readings. This is a fundamental truth about compression springs. This spring is at its “free full length” when there is zero differential pressure; the top of the piston is then in the “zero” band of the graduated scale.Quarterly - Clean outside of gauge glass.Partial System OOS378 DS-2 tank

Check operation of contactors and relays by hand, feeling for any binding or sticking. Look for loose pins, bolts, or bearings. If the control is dirty, it should be wiped or blown clean.

Contact inspection. Check contacts for pitting and signs of overheating, such as discoloration of metal, charred insulation, or odor. Be sure contact pressure is adequate and the same on all poles; verify with manufacturer's specification. Watch for frayed flexible leads.

Contact resistance testing. On essential controls, perform contact-resistance tests with a low-resistance ohmmeter on a regular basis. Proper contact resistance should be about 50 micro-ohms. Record readings for future comparison. This will indicate trends in the condition of contacts.

Overload relay inspection. Overload relays should receive a thorough inspection and cleaning. You also should check for proper setting. No Operator RequirementPartial System OOS
