About this file

This document includes an attachment for a small business subcontracting plan and details of a related federal contract opportunity for construction services. The subcontracting plan template requires a contractor to provide goals and percentages for subcontracting to small, small disadvantaged, women-owned, and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. It also requires descriptions of methods for identifying subcontracting sources and administering the subcontracting program.

The federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Federal Aviation Administration Southwestern Region to provide construction services for establishing NAVAIDS facilities at Chicago O'Hare International Airport. Interested firms must submit responses by October 7, 2020. The estimated price range for the project is between $5 million and $10 million, and the performance period is 605 calendar days starting in November 2020. Offerors must meet experience requirements and provide various documents with their response, including a small business subcontracting plan, past performance questionnaires, and certificates of insurance and bonding capability.
