Arcadis U.S. Inc. will perform annual groundwater monitoring from select wells at the site. Groundwater monitoring will ensure that natural attenuation of contaminants continues to occur. Additionally, select wells will be sampled for PFAS compounds. All activities will be conducted in accordance with the October 3, 2024, Work Plan submitted by Doug McGlone of Arcadis.

The final task assignment total is $10,348.91. Arcadis may invoice according to the attached schedule.

Specific negotiated subtasks are as follows:

Groundwater Monitoring Proposal Admiral Cleaners (ERIC_5186) 4645 Gun Club Road, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida

Dear Ms. Pepe:

Arcadis is pleased to provide the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) this proposal for the former Admiral Cleaners USA site, located in Davie, Broward County, Florida. This proposal has been prepared in response to FDEP email request dated August 23, 2022. The proposal includes the groundwater sampling of four monitor wells and reporting.

SCOPE OF WORK

The following sections provide a brief description of the tasks to be completed by Arcadis.

Task 1 – Project Management

This task includes project management activities associated with completion of Tasks 2 and 3.

Task 2 – Monitor Wells Sampling - VOH

As requested, groundwater samples will be collected from five monitor wells (MW-X, MW-Y, MW004, MW006, and MW007) for analysis of VOHs by EPA Method 8260 by an accredited laboratory. Water levels will be measured in the five wells for purposes of preparing a flow map. Purge water will be drummed for offsite disposal.

Task 3 – Reporting - VOH

An Annual Groundwater Monitoring Report documenting the sampling and results of VOHs and PFAS will be prepared and include conclusions and recommendations for future site work.
