FACID NO. 13-9501077; ERIC_4372

Miami, Miami-Dade County FROM: Theresa Pepe, Project Manager SUBJECT: Task Assignment DC015E (HW680) DATE: December 13, 2024

Arcadis U.S. Inc. will perform confirmatory soil sampling to verify the effectiveness of the remedial system. Arcadis will also conduct annual groundwater monitoring from select wells at the site. Groundwater monitoring will ensure that natural attenuation of contaminants continues to occur. Additionally, select wells will be sampled for PFAS compounds. All activities will be conducted in accordance with the December 10, 2024, Work Plan submitted by Doug McGlone of Arcadis.

The final task assignment total is $19,842.82. Arcadis may invoice according to the attached schedule.

Specific negotiated subtasks are as follows:

Subtask 1: Project Management Project Management is automatically calculated as a percentage of total labor.

Subtask 2: Confirmatory Soil Sampling FDEP obtained an access agreement from the property owner in August 2017. No changes in ownership have occurred since that date.

Arcadis will collect seven soil samples from various depths from previously contaminated locations. SPLP samples will be collected and run by the lab, if needed.

Confirmatory soil sampling is required before the site can be considered for closure.

FDEP’s geologist has approved the soil sampling scope of work.

Subcontractors for drilling and utility locate services were chosen based on the lowest of three bids.

Miami Dry Cleaners

ERIC_4372

Subtask 3: Annual Groundwater Monitoring Arcadis will sample six monitor wells for drycleaning solvents. IDW will be disposed of by a licensed waste hauler.

Subtask 4: Reporting Arcadis will submit a written report as the final deliverable including recommendations for additional actions as needed.

Subtask 5: PFAS sampling Arcadis will sample three monitor wells for PFAS compounds using FDEP’s laboratory in Tallahassee. The wells have been chosen based on prior PFAS results and FDEP’s new guidance/flow chart.

Hours and costs are comparable to past task assignments of similar scope.

I need a quote to clear 4 drilling locations (SB002, SB003, SB011 and SB013) at the subject site (map attached). Three locations are inside through concrete and one is outside through grass. We have located and drilled at these locations before.
