Task Assignment DC038C Summary

This is a Task Assignment under Contract Number HW680 between the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and Arcadis U.S., Inc. for groundwater monitoring services at the former Dapper Dan Cleaners site located at 9850 Alternate A1A, Palm Beach Gardens, Palm Beach County, Florida (Facility ID ERIC_5085). The Task Assignment was executed on December 23, 2025, with Theresa Pepe serving as the FDEP Project Manager and Gus Suarez representing Arcadis as the Contractor's Project Manager. The completion date for this task assignment is May 8, 2026.

Arcadis will conduct annual groundwater monitoring from four monitor wells (MW007, MW002I, MW010, and MW011I) at the site to ensure natural attenuation of drycleaning solvents continues to occur, with all activities performed according to the December 8, 2025 Work Plan submitted by Arcadis. The scope includes three subtasks: Project Management (calculated as a percentage of total labor), Annual Groundwater Monitoring (sampling four wells for volatile organic compounds via EPA Method 8260 with water level measurements and management of purge water by licensed waste hauler), and Reporting (submission of a written Annual Groundwater Monitoring Report with conclusions and recommendations). The total Task Assignment value is $7,739.11 on a fixed unit rate basis, with a single deliverable due April 10, 2026 consisting of the Annual Monitoring Report, IDW manifest, and Project Management documentation, invoiceable upon FDEP approval. The original proposal scope was reduced from ten wells to four wells, with corresponding reductions in hours and costs across all subtasks.
