About this file
This is a closeout procedures document related to a construction project for Penn Township Municipal Building alterations in Pennsylvania. The project encompasses two primary contracts: Contract #1 covers general construction work including demolition, sitework, concrete, general alteration construction, exterior replacement finishes, storefront glass, replacement doors, and associated work; Contract #2 addresses electrical construction work providing heating and lighting for the new vestibule, rear entry, and side entry areas. Bids were to be received online via the PennBid Program until 10:00 AM local time on September 3, 2026, with public display of bids immediately following the deadline. The Notice of Intent to Award was scheduled for consideration by the Township Board of Supervisors at their September 14, 2026 meeting at the Township Office.
Bidding documents were available for download from https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/, with prospective bidders urged to register as plan holders on the designated website. All official notifications, addenda, and bidding documents were to be issued exclusively through the designated website, with neither the Owner nor Engineer accepting responsibility for documents obtained from alternative sources. The document emphasizes the importance of registered plan holders monitoring the website for periodic updates regarding addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other relevant bidding information.
