About this file

This is a References document related to a construction bid opportunity for Penn Township in Pennsylvania for alterations to the Penn Township Municipal Building. The project is divided into two contracts: Contract #1 encompasses general construction work including demolition, sitework, concrete, general alteration construction, exterior replacement finishes, storefront glass, replacement doors, and associated work; Contract #2 covers electrical construction work including providing heating and lighting for the new vestibule, rear entry and side entry, and other associated work. Bids will be received online via the PennBid Program until 10:00 AM local time on September 3, 2026, at which time bids will be publicly displayed. The Township Board of Supervisors will consider the Notice of Intent to Award at its September 14, 2026 meeting at the Township Office. Bidding documents are available for download at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/, and prospective bidders are urged to register as plan holders on the designated website, which will be updated periodically with addenda, registered plan holder lists, reports, and other relevant information.

The file emphasizes that all official notifications, addenda, and bidding documents will be offered exclusively through the designated PennBid website. Neither the Owner nor the Engineer will be responsible for bidding documents obtained from sources other than the official website. The document stresses the importance of bidders registering with the designated website to ensure receipt of all updates and official communications throughout the bidding process.
