Subtask - 1: Project Management This task includes project management activities associated with the completion of asks 2 through , as calculated in accordance with Contract HW689.
Subtask - 2: Monitoring Well Sampling - VOHs Annual groundwater samples will be collected from 6 wells, including MW005, MW006, MW007, MW012, MW013 and MW014. Groundwater samples from the monitoring wells will be collected in accordance with the FDEP Standard Operating Procedures for Field Activities utilizing a peristaltic pump and a field-calibrated YSI multi-parameter instrument. The samples will be hand delivered to a fixed laboratory for volatile organic halocarbons (VOHs) analysis by EPA Method 8260. Prior to groundwater sample collection, depth to water measurements will be collected from all the wells that can be located and accessed.
The purge and decon water will be placed in a DOT approved drum, characterized by the collection of an IDW sample for VOHs only (EPA Method 8260), and stored onsite for future transportation, and disposal. As low bidder, APTIM recommends EnviroServe to perform the IDW transportation and disposal based on the bids solicited and included in the attached IDW bid summary documents.
Subtask - 3: Annual Groundwater Reporting At the conclusion of the groundwater sampling event and upon receipt of the analytical report from the fixed laboratory, an Annual Groundwater Monitoring Report documenting the sampling and results will be prepared and include conclusions and recommendations for future site activities.
APTIM recommends the following schedule:
Description Due Date
Perform the Groundwater Sampling 11/22/24
Submit Annual Groundwater Monitoring Report 1/31/25
Task expiration date 3/28/25
APTIM proposes to perform this scope of work in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and APTIM dated December 21, 2021 (DEP Contract No. HW689). APTIM will begin the proposed scope of work upon issuance of the Task Assignment Notification.

Hello Ronald:
I need an estimate to include in a proposal to pick-up and dispose of non-hazardous liquids which will be generated during upcoming groundwater sampling at the following site:
Site Info:
Johnson’s Cleaners 101 West North Boulevard Leesburg, Florida 34748 FDEP ID Number: ERIC_4820 Former FAC ID #359500984 DEP/EPA Generator ID Number FLR000048702
Please estimate the IDW transportation and disposal estimate is for non-hazardous waste.
Please provide a Lump Sum Estimate per Drum, as the actual disposal count may vary from the estimate below:
a. 1 drum of purge/decon water (liquid)
b. Please include transportation, disposal and preparation of the waste profiles and manifests in the cost estimate.
The former Johnson’s Cleaners was accepted into the Drycleaning Solvent Cleanup Program in 1998 under FDEP Facility Identification Number 359500984. The work is being performed for the FDEP Waste Cleanup Section.
There is no analytical available now, but the proposal is for non-hazardous transportation and disposal. Please note that PFAS constituents have been previously identified in the groundwater beneath the former Johnson’s Cleaners exceeding the FDEP Provisional GCTL. Characterization of the IDW liquid and soil will both be sampled and submitted for analysis for EPA Method 8260 (VOHs only). The January 2023 analytical results for PFAS constituents by method DEP SOP: LC-001-3 (FDEP Laboratory) can be provided. If you need additional analysis for the waste characterization, including updated analysis for PFAS, please indicate so in your response.
I do not need a formal proposal, an email response by the end of Friday, September 5, 2024, would be appreciated.
Thank you, Gregg

Hello Gregg, The cost for T&D of the drums at your location will be $195.00 per drum. There is also a single profiling fee of $350.00. I don't believe we have charged this before, but I am unable to verify that as we are having some server issues. I will verify this once we are up and running smoothly.
