Terracon is requesting to perform SubTask 3, groundwater sampling in September 2024. The June 16, 2024, groundwater sampling results in the intermediate wells were below the GCTL criteria. As a result, Terracon is requesting to sample the intermediate monitoring wells 90 days after the June 16, 2024, SubTask 2 sampling event. SubTask 3 includes groundwater sampling of two intermediate wells. Terracon is requesting sample intermediate monitoring well MW015 in place of monitoring well MW0013. Intermediate monitoring well MW015 had a GCTL PCE exceedance at a concentration of 16.7 μg/L on June 6, 2002. While monitoring well MW013 had two consecutive sampling events below the GCTL criteria (4/27/22 and 06/12/24). Sampling intermediate monitoring well MW005 will continue as scheduled. On July 18, 2024, Terracon replied to FDEP comments regarding sampling shallow aquifer wells, as a result, sampling shallow monitoring wells MW004, MW009, and MW009 are included in SubTask 3

Based on the FDEP SubTask 2 comments, Terracon is requesting time to locate and verify the shallow monitoring wells MW004, MW007, MW009, and intermediate well MW015 viability for groundwater sampling.

Since these wells have not been sampled since 2002, 1-hour per well has been allocated to locate and determine well viability. Additionally, 1.5 hours per well for sampling, 1/2 hour to collect depth-to-water measurements at monitoring wells MW004, MW007, and MW015, and 1/2 hour to handle the additional IDW.

Terracon is requesting one additional quarterly groundwater sampling event to demonstrate (possibly) SRCR conditions. Monitoring well MW009 and MW015 need one additional groundwater sample result demonstrating VOH concentrations below the respective GCTLs. Additionally, we would also like to include the preparation of an SRCR

Resample groundwater from MW009 and MW015 for VOHs by EPA Method 8260 and prepare an SRCR.
