TO: HW687 Contract File FROM: Dean Cox, Contract Manager SUBJECT: Village Cleaners (ERIC_5205) DC002A SVE O&M TA
DATE: 3/10/2022
This Task Assignment (TA) authorizes costs for SVE system O&M, based on the Terracon proposal received 3/10/2022. Utility costs are the only portion of this TA that is cost reimbursement ($1000). The total cost for this TA is $10,476.52 with 49 hours of labor.
There is one deliverable, but the contractor will alert the project manager after any monthly visit that discovers problems with system operation. The SVE system was shut down by the previous contractor in February, so the initial monthly site visit will include system restart & pulsing. Recent system influent contaminant concentrations have been relatively low, so data from the initial visit will be used to evaluate the need for continued system operation. If it is decided to continue to operate the system, it may be shut down again in March as part of another pulsing evaluation, as appropriate.
Labor was reduced from the contractor proposal for each site visit. And site visits were reduced from four to three – the contractor originally had separate visits for system startup and the first month of O&M. Total labor hours were reduced from 100 to 49.
