About this file
This document is a Task Assignment (TA) issued by the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) to Terracon Consultants, Inc. under Master Contract HW687. The TA authorizes environmental remediation services at the Village Cleaners site located at 2100 45th Street, Palm Beach County, West Palm Beach (ERIC_5205). The Department's Project Manager is Gabriel Sostre, and Terracon's Project Manager is Donna Cline. The TA is effective April 15, 2026, with a completion date of September 25, 2026.
The TA authorizes annual groundwater sampling and reporting services comprising four subtasks: Subtask 1 (Project Management), Subtask 2 (Annual Groundwater Sampling for Volatile Organic Hydrocarbons at 16 monitoring wells with 6 samples for VOH analysis by EPA Method 8260), Subtask 3 (Combined PFAS Groundwater Sampling with 6 samples for PFAS analysis), and Subtask 4 (IDW Management and transportation). Total compensation is $11,794.65, invoiced in three phases: $8,544.66 for Subtask 2 upon FDEP approval of the Groundwater Monitoring Report, $1,419.27 for Subtask 3 upon FDEP approval of PFAS results, and $1,830.72 for Subtasks 1 and 4 upon approval of signed Waste Manifest. All deliverables are due August 21, 2026. IDW disposal was competitively bid, with Erwin Remediation selected as the low bidder at $195.00 per drum for PFAS-impacted waste.
