WSP is requesting approval of this work change directive to cover costs associated with abandonment of the MW-10 manhole at the Alan Dry Cleaners site (ERIC_4399). WSP was contacted by the offsite property owner (Miami Gardens Holding LLC) that MW-10 has no manhole lid, and is a public safety hazard for pedestrians.
WSP will mobilize to the site from the Miami Gardens office, and abandon MW-10 manhole by filling with concrete flush to the existing grade. MW-10 was previously destroyed and replacement monitoring well MW-10R was installed in 2003. WSP will prepare photographic log and field documentation e-mail deliverable.
