COST PROPOSAL FOR TASK DC014F
<Plant City Laundry/FDEP ERIC_4722>
< Groundwater Performance Monitoring >
1. INTRODUCTION: <DISCUSS SCOPE OF WORK, DATES >
GHD Services Inc. (GHD) completed source removal activities for the Plant City Laundry site located in Plant City, Hillsborough County, in March, April, and May 2024. In accordance with the approved ISRP, performance groundwater monitoring is required following source removal. Task DC014F includes quarter 3 and quarter 4 post source removal sampling.
Subtask 1: Project Management Subtask 1 includes all tasks associated with project management of the groundwater sampling activities at the Plant City Laundry site.
Subtask 2: Quarter 2 Sampling Quarter 2 sampling is limited to UIC chemical analysis. Groundwater sampling will be conducted in accordance with the approved ISRP. Groundwater sampling is recommended at 5 select site monitor wells (MW002S, MW004S, MW005S, MW007S, and MW008S) with TRPH analysis using State Method FL-PRO (per the ISRP sampling schedule). Groundwater sampling will be conducted in accordance with FDEP standard operating procedures.
Following receipt of analytical data, a letter summary will be prepared. The summary will include details of sampling procedures and results, and conclusions and recommendations for additional monitoring and/or rehabilitation activities.
Subtask 3: Quarter 4 Sampling Annual groundwater sampling will be conducted in accordance with the approved ISRP. GHD personnel will gather depth to water measurements at all available monitoring wells (33 total).
Following depth to water measurements, groundwater sampling will be conducted.
Groundwater sampling is recommended at 22 select site monitor wells with VOC, PAH, and/or TRPH analysis using Methods 8260, 8270SIM, and/or FL-PRO (per the ISRP sampling schedule). Groundwater sampling will be conducted at MW002S, MW004S, MW004I, MW004D, MW005S, MW005I, MW005D, MW006I, MW006D, MW007S, MW007I, MW007D, MW008S, MW008I, MW008D, MW010S, MW010I, MW011S, MW011I, MW011D, MW012S, MW012I. Samples from all wells will be analyzed for VOCs and samples from all wells accept MW004D and MW006I will be analyzed for PAHs and TRPH. Groundwater sampling will be conducted in accordance with FDEP standard operating procedures.
Following receipt of analytical data, a Groundwater Monitoring Report will be prepared. The report will include details of sampling procedures and results, and conclusions and recommendations for additional monitoring and/or rehabilitation activities.

Re: Non-Hazardous Drum Disposal – State of Florida
Mr. Moore:
The price for the transportation and disposal (T&D) of drums of non-hazardous soil and water located in the State of Florida is listed below.
Non-Hazardous Drums:
Description Rate Unit False Mobilization (No drum found) $ 85.00 Per Stop T&D - Non-Haz Soil $ 110.00 Per Drum T&D - Non-Haz Water $ 125.00 Per Drum
The prices listed are all inclusive without any additional fees or charges (fuel surcharge, low volume stop fee etc.) and are valid for all regions in the State of Florida except for the Florida Keys. Pricing for sites located in the Florida Keys will be bid on a case-by-case basis dependent on the volume of drums and the location.
The lab data we require for the disposal of drums of petroleum impacted soils are totals for BTEX and the 4 RCRA metals (arsenic, cadmium, chromium, and lead), with analyses no older than 1 year from the estimated disposal date.
We do not require analyticals for the disposal of Petroleum Contact Water (PCW) as long as it has only been impacted with petroleum - not pesticides, herbicides or dry-cleaning solvents etc.
Please ensure that all drum lids are properly secured and that drums are on a level surface like the surrounding area (i.e., not on a pallet, etc.). A single False Mobilization fee will apply if our driver is not able to locate a drum on site or if we are unable to access the property due to a locked gate, etc.
This quote is valid for 90 days.
