About this file
This is a mobilization narrative prepared by a contractor in response to an on-call pipelining and drainage repair services solicitation issued by the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT). The document addresses mobilization pricing for hypothetical projects across multiple districts within ADOT's service areas, noting that specific project scopes, locations, and existing conditions have not been defined. The contractor references previous experience with ADOT pipeline projects and indicates that mobilization pricing represents worst-case scenarios calculated from the closest distance to their office within each respective district. The narrative clarifies that pricing is all-inclusive and covers both mobilization and demobilization services for projects involving pipes, drainage items, and potential hydrovac requirements.
The contractor's mobilization cost estimates range from $1,500 to $5,000 per district depending on equipment requirements and whether hydrovac services are necessary. The narrative emphasizes that actual mobilization costs would decrease significantly if projects are located closer to the contractor's office or require less equipment than the worst-case scenario pricing reflects. The contractor presents both worst-case and best-case scenario costs for each district to provide ADOT with transparent pricing expectations while acknowledging the inherent uncertainty in pricing on-call services without defined project parameters.

Mobilization Breakdown
Being that this solicitation is a not to succeed pricing on hypothetical projects without a defined scope, location, or known existing conditions, the mobilization pricing per district is an estimate of the worst-case scenario at the closet distance in that district from our office.
If projects are further away and do not require a significant amount of equipment our mobilization price will greatly decrease. Attached is a breakdown of each district in question with a worst-case scenario cost as well as a best scenario cost. Please keep in mind per the contract documents, the provided pricing was to be all inclusive, so it is to cover not just mobilization, but also demobilization.
Standard Mobilization:
With SWSW previous ADOT pipeline experience, our district mobilization cost would range between $1500-$5000 depending on the equipment brought to the site and if the pipe required hydrovac. With that numerous pipes and drainage items would be completed under this mobilization.
