COST PROPOSAL FOR TASK DC047B
<My Favorite Cleaners/FDEP ERIC_4255>
< Groundwater Monitoring >
1. INTRODUCTION: <DISCUSS SCOPE OF WORK, DATES >
GHD Services Inc. (GHD) initially completed advanced site assessment (ASA) activities at the My Favorite Cleaners site. Although a site access agreement was signed by the current property owner, access to the interior space has not been authorized. Task DC047B includes groundwater sampling at 3 site wells in accordance with GHD’s recommendations from December 2023 and FDEP approval from January 2024.
Subtask 1: Project Management Subtask 1 includes all tasks associated with project management for groundwater monitoring and reporting.
Subtask 2: Groundwater Monitoring
In accordance with discussions with FDEP, groundwater monitoring is proposed at available site monitor wells. GHD personnel will mobilize to the site for sampling. Prior to groundwater sampling, depth to water measurements will be gathered from all site monitor wells. Groundwater samples will be collected from MW003, MW004, and MW005.
Groundwater sampling will be conducted in accordance with FDEP Standard Operating Procedures and groundwater samples will be submitted for volatile organic halocarbon analysis by EPA Method 8260.
Upon receipt of analytical data, a Groundwater Monitoring Report (GMR) will be prepared.
The GMR will include a summary of field sampling activities as well as analytical results. The GMR will also include recommendations for additional monitoring and/or cleanup activities.
Subtask 3: PFAS Sampling
In order to further evaluate the presence of PFAS in groundwater, sampling will be conducted.
PFAS groundwater sampling will be conducted at all site monitoring wells MW001, MW002, MW003, MW004, MW005 and MW006. Groundwater sampling will be conducted in accordance with FDEP and GHD SOPs.
Groundwater samples will be submitted for PFAS analysis using EPA Method 537.1. Upon receipt of analytical data, the results will be incorporated into the groundwater monitoring report discussed in Subtask 2.

Re: Non-Hazardous Drum Disposal – State of Florida
Mr. Moore:
The price for the transportation and disposal (T&D) of drums of non-hazardous soil and water located in the State of Florida is listed below.
Non-Hazardous Drums:
Description Rate Unit False Mobilization (No drum found) $ 85.00 Per Stop T&D - Non-Haz Soil $ 110.00 Per Drum T&D - Non-Haz Water $ 125.00 Per Drum
The prices listed are all inclusive without any additional fees or charges (fuel surcharge, low volume stop fee etc.) and are valid for all regions in the State of Florida except for the Florida Keys. Pricing for sites located in the Florida Keys will be bid on a case-by-case basis dependent on the volume of drums and the location.
The lab data we require for the disposal of drums of petroleum impacted soils are totals for BTEX and the 4 RCRA metals (arsenic, cadmium, chromium, and lead), with analyses no older than 1 year from the estimated disposal date.
We do not require analyticals for the disposal of Petroleum Contact Water (PCW) as long as it has only been impacted with petroleum - not pesticides, herbicides or dry-cleaning solvents etc.
Please ensure that all drum lids are properly secured and that drums are on a level surface like the surrounding area (i.e., not on a pallet, etc.). A single False Mobilization fee will apply if our driver is not able to locate a drum on site or if we are unable to access the property due to a locked gate, etc.
This quote is valid for 90 days.
