Arcadis U.S. Inc. will perform annual groundwater monitoring from select wells at the site. Groundwater monitoring will ensure that bioremediation of contaminants continues to occur. All activities will be conducted in accordance with the May 6, 2022, Work Plan submitted by Doug McGlone of Arcadis.
The final task assignment total is $19,660.44. Arcadis may invoice according to the attached schedule.
Specific negotiated subtasks are as follows:
Subtask 1: Project Management Project Management is automatically calculated as a percentage of total labor.
Subtask 2: Annual Groundwater Monitoring Arcadis will sample thirty wells for drycleaning solvents based on recommendations from the previous monitoring report. Additionally, six wells will be sampled for UIC parameters due to the prior bioremediation injections. IDW will be drummed and disposed by a licensed waste hauler per FDEP’s preference. Note: This will be the first annual sampling event after the bio injections; therefore, the high number of wells sampled is justified. Total number of wells sampled is expected to come down as remediation progresses.
Subtask 3: Reporting An Annual Monitoring Report including recommendations for additional actions will be submitted as the final Deliverable.
Hours and costs are comparable to past task assignments of similar scope.

Dear Ms. Pepe:
Arcadis U.S., Inc. (Arcadis) is pleased to submit the following proposal/cost estimate for annual groundwater monitoring and reporting for the remaining drycleaner solvents in the groundwater at the subject site. This proposal includes a description of the proposed scope of services and an estimated cost and schedule for their completion.
SCOPE OF WORK
Task 1: Project Management
This task consists of project management-related activities in relation to the completion of Tasks 2 and 3.
Task 2: Groundwater Monitoring Event
In October 2022, groundwater samples from 17 intermediate-depth monitor wells

MW-26 (50’), MW-26 (70’), MW-31 (55’), MW-31 (70’) will also be sampled for UIC parameters including dissolved gases (ethane, ethene, methane), TOC and TDS. A full round of water level measurements, and field water quality from the above-listed 30 monitor wells will be performed. Purge water will be containerized for offsite disposal.
Task 3: Annual Groundwater Monitoring Report
Upon completion of the field monitoring event and receipt of the sample analytical data, Arcadis will review/validate the data and prepare updated figures/tables and an Annual Groundwater Monitoring Report and submit to FDEP. This report will summarize the results of the monitoring activities completed at the site and include tables, figures and graphs of VOH concentrations, illustrate the treatment performance indicator parameters/trends, sample analytical reports, and recommendations.
SCHEDULE
Arcadis will coordinate the scope of work in October 2022, after receipt of a signed Task Assignment (TA). The Annual Groundwater Monitoring Report will be delivered within 60 days of completion of the groundwater monitoring event.
COST ESTIMATE
Level of Effort (LOE) Forms and a Cost Estimate Form (CEF) that present estimated project costs are enclosed.
