About this file

This Task Assignment (TA) is a work authorization issued by the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) to Arcadis U.S. Inc. for environmental site assessment services related to the Hamlet Cleaners facility located at 4051 W Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida. The Task Assignment, numbered DC040A, is executed under the parent Contract Number HW680 and involves project ERIC_5154. The Department Project Manager is Theresa Pepe (850-245-8966), and the Contractor's Project Manager is Gus Suarez (813-205-4703).

The contract authorizes Arcadis to generate a Site Assessment Work Plan (SAWP) for the Hamlet Cleaners site on a fixed unit rate basis with a total value of $5,000.00. The primary deliverable is an Initial Site Assessment Work Plan due on December 20, 2023, with the Task Assignment completion date of February 2, 2024. Invoicing is contingent upon FDEP approval of the Initial Site Assessment Work Plan, at which point the full $5,000.00 amount becomes payable. The SAWP must include a completed drycleaning site visit checklist, site summary with initial conceptual site model, figures depicting site features and proposed sampling locations, sampling plan details, proposed schedule for submittal of a Site Assessment Report, and cost estimate/level of effort worksheets. The scope specifically requires PFAS screening and excludes certain documentation such as EDR reports, offsite property owner surveys, and potable well surveys.
