About this file

This is a Project Record Documents specification section prepared by Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc. for the Skytop Lodge Sewage Treatment Plant Improvements Project (Contract 2026-01, Project Number 005153.0436) in Pennsylvania. The specification establishes requirements for the contractor to maintain comprehensive project record documents on-site throughout construction, including marked-up copies of all contract drawings, specifications, addenda, change orders, shop drawings, product data, and samples. The contractor must record actual revisions and installations concurrent with construction progress at a minimum weekly frequency, with particular attention to concealed elements, dimensional changes, underground utility locations, equipment locations, and internal utility routing. A pre-bid conference was scheduled for August 25, 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Skytop Lodge STP facility in Canadensis, Pennsylvania, with bid opening on Friday, September 18, 2026 at 10:00 AM. The project encompasses sewage treatment plant upgrades including an influent screening system, equalization tank, chemical feed system, two clarifier tanks, post aeration tank, UV disinfection system, and associated work.

The specification requires the contractor to submit one marked-up paper copy and PDF electronic files of all project record documents to the Engineer before substantial completion. Record drawings must be marked with erasable red-colored pencil, organized into manageable sets with durable paper covers, and clearly labeled as "PROJECT RECORD DRAWING" with contractor identification. The contractor must cross out the engineer's title block and seal from all sheets and prepare new drawings where existing contract or shop drawings are unsuitable for showing actual installation conditions. Miscellaneous record submittals must include material and equipment test and inspection reports, delivery slips, and other records required by individual specification sections, all properly bound and identified for future owner reference.
