About this file
This is a Permit Applications document for the City of Harrisburg and PennDOT related to the 2027 Sewer System Improvements Project being procured by Capital Region Water. The document specifies that the Owner will apply for and pay for a City of Harrisburg Street Cut Permit and a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit (HOP). The Contractor is responsible for complying with all surface restoration, pavement markings, parking, and other requirements mandated by the City of Harrisburg, PennDOT, or any other Authority Having Jurisdiction. All costs associated with surface restoration and compliance with these requirements must be included in the Contractor's bid submission.
The permit applications referenced in this document serve as informational supplements to support bidders' own investigations and do not relieve bidders of their responsibility to conduct due diligence regarding permitting requirements. The Contractor must account for all restoration work, pavement markings, and parking compliance costs in their bid price at the time of submission. This requirement ensures that the project timeline and budget reflect the full scope of work necessary to meet all applicable municipal and state regulatory standards for street cut and highway occupancy activities in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
