Proposed Scope of Work Spot Busters Cleaners 6750 North State Road 7, Coconut Creek, Broward County, FL 33073 Development of ISR Work Plan Task Assignment DC011C ERIC_4244 (Former Facility No. 069801109) Aptim Environmental & Infrastructure, LLC 6/7/23
The following proposed scope of work under Task Assignment (TA) DC011C has been prepared for the Former Spot Busters Cleaners located at 6750 North State Road 7 in Coconut Creek, Florida. The scope was prepared for the development of an Interim Source Removal Plan for SVE at the request of the FDEP. The following explains the scope of work included in the Task Assignment (TA).
Subtask - 1: Project Management This task includes project management activities associated with the completion of Task 2, as calculated in accordance with Contract HW689.
Subtask 2 – Interim Source Removal Plan (ISR):
Includes the estimated cost for the preparation of an Initial Source Removal Plan for the former Spot Busters Cleaners site. The costs include a site visit to determine system infrastructure layout, and electrical supply routing. In addition, the scope includes review of MAGS testing data, design of a SVE system specifically for the former Spot Busters Cleaners based on the site layout, estimated area of impact, probable remedial system footprint and owners/tenants’ preferences to reduce impact to site operations. The goal of the ISR is to remove the source of the soil contamination detected beneath the building and other areas of the subsurface. The ISR will be submitted to the FDEP for review and approval.
The ISR Preparation is estimated to require 4 weeks from approval of the task assignment, therefore the report submittal is estimated be July 28, 2023. The TA completion date should allow for FDEP review and approval of the ISR report, and therefore should be set around September 29, 2023.
APTIM proposes to perform this scope of work in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract No. HW689 executed between Florida Department of Environmental Protection and APTIM Environmental & Infrastructure, LLC. APTIM will begin the proposed scope of work upon written authorization.
