About this file

This is a mechanical/electrical engineering drawing for HVAC ductwork prepared by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet, Department for Facilities & Support Services, Division of Engineering, in collaboration with KLH Engineers, PSC. The drawing depicts new and demolition HVAC ductwork specifications for the roof level of a classroom center at Gateway Urban Campus located at 438-440 Scott Street, Covington, Kentucky 41011. The document, dated December 18, 2015, includes detailed schematic representations of refrigerant lines, ductwork connections, diffusers, exhaust grilles, and fire dampers, with component specifications noting weights for various units (CU-B-02 at 2,600 lbs, CU-01 at 1,376 lbs, and CU-02 at 1,039 lbs). The drawing provides comprehensive general notes requiring contractors to furnish all labor, material, and equipment necessary to install systems in accordance with state and local codes, coordinate work with other trades, install volume dampers at all branch take-offs, incorporate turning vanes in elbows where specified, use flexible duct connections at ceiling diffusers with proper support, and maintain required clearances for service, access, and fire protection.

The document specifies technical requirements including acoustic-lined duct sizing based on net inside dimensions, diffuser neck sizing for runouts, and detailed HVAC symbols and legends to guide installation. No pricing terms, bid amounts, response dates, or award information are contained within this engineering drawing, which serves as a technical specification document for construction contractors bidding on or executing the mechanical systems installation work associated with the Gateway Urban Campus project.
