About this file
This is a minimum insurance requirements document issued by Broward County's Finance and Administrative Services Department, Risk Management Division, for the Merchant Card Services (Group 2) contract under the Master Banking Services solicitation. The document specifies mandatory insurance coverage that vendors must maintain throughout the contract term and for a minimum of three years after completion of work for claims-made policies. The contract involves providing merchant card processing services to Broward County, with vendors required to perform all work directly without subcontracting or outsourcing.
The insurance requirements include General Liability coverage with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate; Auto Liability coverage with $500,000 combined bodily injury and property damage limits; Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions) with $3,000,000 per claim limits and a maximum deductible of $100,000; Cyber Liability coverage with $5,000,000 per claim limits and a maximum deductible of $100,000; and Crime and Fidelity coverage with $3,000,000 per claim limits where Broward County must be listed as loss payee. Workers' Compensation coverage must meet statutory limits with $100,000 employer's liability per accident. All policies must name Broward County as additional insured, provide primary coverage without requiring county contribution, include waiver of subrogation in favor of the county, and provide 30 days' written notice of cancellation or 10 days' notice for non-payment. The document was digitally signed on March 5, 2026.
