About this file
This is a Minimum Insurance Requirements document for the Lockbox Services project (Group 1) issued by Broward County's Finance and Administrative Services Department. The document establishes mandatory insurance coverage requirements that vendors must maintain throughout the contract period and for a minimum of three years following completion of work. Broward County requires vendors to obtain General Liability insurance with limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, Auto Liability coverage with $500,000 combined bodily injury and property damage limits, Workers' Compensation at statutory limits, Employer's Liability coverage of $100,000 per accident, Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions) with $2,000,000 limits and a maximum deductible of $100,000, Cyber Liability with $5,000,000 limits and a maximum deductible of $100,000, and Crime and Fidelity insurance with $3,000,000 coverage limits naming Broward County as Loss Payee. The certificate holder is Broward County's Risk Management Division located at 115 South Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33301.
All insurance policies must provide Broward County with additional insured status, with the contractor's insurance serving as primary coverage without contribution from the County. Policies must include a waiver of subrogation in favor of Broward County and require 30 days' written notice of cancellation or 10 days' notice for non-payment. For Claims-Made policies, continuous coverage and proof of insurance must be maintained for at least three years after contract completion. The document was digitally signed on March 5, 2026, by Colleen Pounall from the Risk Management Division.
