About this file
This is an Insurance Requirements document for Master Banking Services issued by Broward County's Finance and Administrative Services Department in Florida. The document establishes the insurance coverage and related requirements that vendors must maintain when providing banking services to the County. The solicitation encompasses five distinct service groups: Lockbox Services, Merchant Card Services, Purchasing Card Services, Third-Party Custodian/Safekeeping Services, and Treasury Services. Vendors may propose for one or multiple banking service groups, and each proposal must be submitted separately with corresponding evaluation criteria and pricing. The County reserves the right to award each banking service to a single vendor or distribute awards among multiple vendors. Vendors must perform all work directly without subcontracting or outsourcing the services.
The insurance requirements document outlines the mandatory coverage specifications that protect Broward County's interests in banking service operations. Vendors must comply with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard Requirements, obtain appropriate licenses and certifications, and complete the Enterprise Technology Services Vendor Security Questionnaire as part of their submittal. The County emphasizes that all documentation identified as "optional" in the BPRO system should be submitted to facilitate comprehensive evaluation. Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and County Business Enterprise (CBE) procurement preferences apply under the Office of Economic and Small Business Development (OESBD) requirements. Vendors are required to submit questions and clarifications during the specified timeframe provided by the County through designated channels.
