About this file

This solicitation provides details for a construction project to replace the fuels storage complex at the Quonset Point Rhode Island Air National Guard Station. The project scope includes replacing the truck offload and fillstand positions and associated pumping and filtration equipment, constructing a new 600 gallon per minute pumphouse with control room, upgrading the refueler parking area, and reusing existing storage tanks with the new system. Construction will be phased to allow the existing system to operate until most of the new system is complete. The work is estimated to cost between $5-10 million and will be solicited as a small business set-aside using Best Value tradeoff procedures. The Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District New England will issue the solicitation.
