About this file
This document contains a draft Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and related draft solicitation for H-53 aircraft maintenance and repair services. The CDRL requires the contractor to record, consolidate, purge and forward Scheduled Removal Cards (SRCs) for H-53 aircraft to the Centralized Maintenance Information System Repository within 30 days of completion of maintenance actions. SRCs document the history and maintenance of individual aircraft components, and their consolidation and forwarding is necessary to enable reconstruction of assembly histories when SRCs are lost. The draft solicitation seeks feedback on draft documents for a future solicitation for depot-level maintenance, repair and overhaul of U.S. Navy and Marine Corps H-53 helicopters to be issued by Fleet Readiness Center Western Pacific and NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka. Interested parties must submit a completed non-disclosure agreement to obtain the draft documents and are invited to provide feedback by the specified dates.

16. REMARKS
(1) Description: SRC Card recording, consolidation, purging and forwarding to CMIS Repository.
(2) Purpose: Loss of an SRC can cause the loss of the assembly as an RFI asset.
Therefore, it is extremely important to be able to reconstruct the assembly’s history to determine the necessary course of action when the SRC is not available. The CMIS Repository at COMNAVAIRSYSCOM (AIR-6.8.4.3) has the responsibility to determine the required course of action under these circumstances. To enable the repository to accomplish this responsibility, it must receive misplaced and cancelled SRCs; copies of all updated records after off-site standard rework and repair and copies of all new SRCs generated for new SRC items. The CMIS Repository will respond to all requests for information regarding SRCs. The request for data may be made by telephone (DSN 757-8883 or COMM (301) 757-8883), on the web (http://www.navair.navy.mil/logistics/CMIS), or message or letter consistent with the priority of the requirement for the information.
(3) Format: COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series, Chapter 5, Para 5.2.1.30.1.4 When an SRC card becomes lost or mutilated, the activity having current custody shall initiate a new card. All information shall be transcribed to the new card.
When an SRC card contains no space for additional entries, a new card is prepared per consolidation procedures listed in COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series, Chapter 5, Para 5.2.1.30.2.
Upon completion of first-degree repair or rework the SRC card will be consolidated. A new SRC card will be initiated if no additional space remains for entries. A copy of the SRC card will be forwarded to the CMIS Repository.
All SRC's will be consolidated during the PMI event and mailed to the CMIS Repository when completed.
