About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the repair and replacement of the overt/covert lighting system at McChord Airfield, located at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM).
The project scope encompasses replacing the entire failing overt/covert lighting system, the Sequence Flasher Lights (SFL) system, and providing training to JBLM Airfield Lighting technicians. Task 1 requires Logi Track Device Hardware Upgrade for Runways 16/34, specifically 48 Logi Track Remotes (P/N: T6540-03-01-00 CLD, 2XLAMP, ON/OFF PROGR 11768824), with 44 units to be installed and 4 designated as spares. Task 2 involves Sequence Flasher Remote Control Replacement, requiring two Remote Control Units (P/N: 1500867-2-C) for Runways 16 and 34, each containing an IP 66 Enclosure, I/O Unit, Managed Gigabit Ethernet Switch, and Single Mode SFP Module. Additional components include two Single Mode SFP Modules for the Vault for Runway 16/34 SFL communications. Software deliverables include a new Communication Protocol for the SFL interface, database modifications for the new SFL configuration, and factory testing.
The contractor is responsible for performing and recording testing and evaluation results, coordinating commissioning tasks with the manufacturer's representative, supporting and logging all equipment and software updates with manufacturer-specified testing, advising JBLM representatives of any deviations or discrepancies, providing a final trip/maintenance report, organizing and retaining project documentation, and delivering comprehensive training to all JBLM technicians. All work must comply with FAA 150/5340-26(x), Chapter 2 safety protocols.
