COST PROPOSAL FOR TASK DC009C

Sargent’s, ERIC_5061

Groundwater Monitoring (Annual)

1. INTRODUCTION: <DISCUSS SCOPE OF WORK, DATES >

GHD completed active remediation at the Sargent’s One Hour Cleaners (Formerly) site located in Orlando, Orange County. The active remediation included operation of a Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) system that successfully remediated shallow PCE impacts. Although shallow groundwater PCE concentrations have decreased, the Sargent’s site is situated within a larger area-wide groundwater plume. As such, annual groundwater monitoring was implemented in order to evaluate groundwater quality conditions over time. Task DC009C includes annual groundwater monitoring in accordance with GHD recommendations from June 2023 and FDEP approval.

Subtask1: Project Management Subtask 1 includes all project management tasks associated with the groundwater sampling event and reporting.

Subtask 2: Groundwater Subtask 2 includes annual groundwater monitoring at monitoring wells MW009, MW010, MW012, MW013, MW014, MW017, MW018, and MW019. GHD personnel will mobilize to the site and gather water levels from all available site monitoring wells (19 total). Following water level measurements, groundwater samples will be gathered from the diffusion bag samplers directly for wells MW009, MW012, MW013, MW014, MW018, and MW019.

Groundwater sampling will be conducted at MW010 and MW017 using FDEP SOPs. All samples will be submitted to a Florida-certified laboratory for analysis for the presence of volatile organic halocarbons by EPA Method 8260.

Following receipt of analytical data, a summary report will be prepared. The summary report will include a discussion of field sampling methodology and analytical results. The report will also include recommendations regarding additional sampling and/or remediation.

Subtask 3: PFAS Sampling As part of Subtask 3, GHD will complete additional PFAS sampling in order to complete delineation of the identified impacts. PFAS sampling will be completed at all site monitoring wells. As eight wells will be sampled as part of subtask 2, the remaining wells (MW002, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, and 24) will be sampled as part of subtask 3. All PFAS sampling will be conducted in accordance with FDEP SOPs and GHD’s PFAS specific SOPs. The PFAS samples will be analyzed at the FDEP laboratory in Tallahassee.

Upon receipt, GHD will prepare a PFAS summary email with additional recommendations for PFAS testing.

Assumption is non-haz with necessary analytical Maybe provide a range of locations

South florida or central florida, or both?

Thanks in advance

We have many sites that we generate 1 gw drum of IDW and would like to streamline the vendor coordination
