The project encompasses approximately 1,520 linear feet of gravity sanitary sewer installation, 11 manholes, 13 lateral connections, one duplex sewage pumping station, 404 linear feet of force main, one stream crossing, and all required surface restoration and appurtenances. Sealed bids for this project were due online at http://pennbid.net/ by 1:00 PM local time on Monday, February 16, 2026. The specification section addresses Division 15 plumbing work requirements and includes general provisions for materials, equipment, installation standards, and workmanship standards applicable to the project.
The specification establishes comprehensive requirements for plumbing work execution, including compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; the International Plumbing Code; National Fire Protection Agency standards; and Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry codes. Contractors must provide all necessary materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals for completion, including permits and fees. The document requires first-class workmanship, proper concealment of piping within walls and floors, coordination with other trades, firestopping in fire-rated assemblies, and protection of existing utilities and infrastructure. A one-year warranty from the date of substantial completion is required for all materials, equipment, and workmanship, with contractors responsible for replacing defective work at no additional cost to the owner. The specification mandates detailed closeout submittals including marked drawings showing all revisions, equipment lists with manufacturer information and model numbers, maintenance procedures, and operating instructions.
