The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) intends to enter into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with TRANE for HVAC Services to a proprietary HVAC Unit.to support the educational goals at BIE¿s Pueblo Pintado Community School under the authority of FAR 8.405-6
The Government anticipates the award of a ONE YEAR contract (365 Days).
Pueblo Pintado Community School building has air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment (HVAC) that require inspections and preventive maintenance. The contractor TRANE shall provide an annual inspection/preventive maintenance and follow-up with three running inspections on the HVAC equipment. New Mexico Navajo Central Agency Facilities Management has used the services to TRANE at other TRANE equipment installations and each time has provided excellent services. The contractor¿s technicians perform their work in a professional matter and are technically competent. They are licensed to perform the level the work required on the TRANE HVAC units and proprietary ancillary equipment to maintain warranty and meet industrial code compliance and regulations.
No solicitation is available and no technical questions will be answered for this requirement. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 926150, Regulation, Licensing, and Inspection of Miscellaneous Commercial Sectors. If a firm believes that BIA should not pursue this procurement, it should submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement by 4:00pm MT on September 16, 2020. The Department of Energy has published a Special Notice for a Technology Licensing Opportunity related to an eco-friendly ammonia production process. This novel electrochemical approach, developed at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL), uses protonic ceramic cells to produce green ammonia from steam and nitrogen, offering a sustainable and efficient alternative to the traditional Haber-Bosch process.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to invite businesses to explore licensing opportunities for this advanced technology. The process aims to significantly reduce carbon emissions and energy consumption compared to the Haber-Bosch method, making it a viable solution for the agricultural, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as the marine transportation and power generation sectors. The technology is currently at Technology Readiness Level 3, with a provisional patent application filed. Managed by Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC, INL is offering flexible and affordable licensing agreements, particularly to support small businesses in their growth and innovation efforts. Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Far East (NAVFAC FE) FEAD Camp Butler is conducting a Sources Sought Notice. The intent of this notice is to conduct market research and identify potential contractors that are capable of performing the work in Japan and interested in the Department of Navy’s requirement for MAINTENANCE SERVICES ON SUPERVISORY CONTROL AND DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM (SCADA) AT MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BUTLER, U.S. NAVAL HOSPITAL (USNH) OKINAWA, JAPAN
The information will be used within the NAVFAC Far East Contracting Division and will not be disclosed outside the agency. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests.
NAVFAC FE, FEAD Camp Butler is seeking qualified contractors and subcontractors that are licensed to conduct business in Japan for MAINTENANCE SERVICES ON SCADA.
SERVICES DESCRIPTION: The proposed MAINTENANCE SERVICES ON SCADA will require the contractor to furnish all labor, management, supervision, tools, material, and equipment required to perform facility and maintenance service on SCADA at U. S. Naval Hospital Okinawa (USNHO), Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan.
Locations: Bldg. 960, 961, 962, 963, 964, 966, 967, 968, 969, 970, 971 and 972 at Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan
The Contractor shall develop, implement, and execute a Service Order, Maintenance Program to maintain, repair, troubleshoot and upgrade all software for the SCADA system.
All maintenance, repair, inspect test and operate shall be performed by personnel trained and certified by the OEM. Personnel working with or on electrical or electronic equipment must be trained and certified per NAVFAC MO-200 or must be certified First-Class electrical work operation and management engineer (第1種電気工事士).
All maintenance trade personnel certifying or inspecting repair or maintenance work that does not require an inspector certified by a governing directive shall be qualified at the journeyman level.
Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price/IDIQ Services contract with RECURRING and NON-RECURRING services. Anticipated period of performance is total five (5) years consist of one (1) year base period and four (4) one-year option periods.
This notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Government to issue a Solicitation or award a contract. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on responses.
Entities responding to this Sources Sought Notice should submit the minimum information necessary for the Government to make a determination that adequate business entities exist that are capable of satisfying the Government’s requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 926130 – Regulation and Administration of communications, Electric, Gas and Other Utilities.
It is requested that interested firms capable of providing the requested services submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages, including attachments if any) demonstrating your ability to perform the requested services.
The documentation shall address, at a minimum, the following:
1. COMPANY PROFILE to include all of the following: (1) Company name and address; (2) Company point of contact (including title, telephone and fax numbers and email address); and (3) If your company is registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) website, please indicate your Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) numbers and CAGE code.
2. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: Indicate your experience in providing services for the requirement stated above. Please indicate number of years of experience.
3. SUBCONTRACTORS: If known, provide established subcontractor arrangements or partnerships with other companies (Optional).
4. LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: Indicate any applicable local/and or industry certification your company or employee possess relevant to this procurement.
5. MISC INFO: Provide anything pertinent to this industry and/or type of work, in general, that the Government should consider.

This solicitation seeks inspection services to monitor compliance with tobacco sales restrictions in U.S. territories. The Department of Health and Human Services' Food and Drug Administration Office of Acquisition and Grant Services requires contractors to conduct undercover buy inspections and collect evidence to determine retailers' compliance with provisions limiting tobacco sales and advertising to minors. Offerors must demonstrate capability to perform these inspection services, provide underage tobacco purchasers and program management, and report results. Proposals are due by July 31, 2021 and pricing will be on a cost-reimbursement basis.
Specifically, the base solicitation is for inspections in the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands from September 2021 through May 2022 with four optional one-year periods extending to September 2025. There is no set-aside designation. Inspections will be conducted under NAICS code 561611 and PSC code R425. The estimated total contract value including options is [dollar amount redacted]. Inspections will determine compliance at tobacco retailers with sales age and ID restrictions to protect public health, with a specified number to be completed each contract period.
