RFI No. Date Rec'd Item No. Question TT Response Response Date Follow-up
1 The design shows to connect 2 inch water supply line to existing 1 inch municipal line which will reduce the water pressure needed to reach the elevated water tank please clarify? Will have cost implication.
PROPOSED SOLUTION:
Proposed solution for this: to connect to the new municipal line under way which is 40 to 50 meter outside of durame health center which is 3 inch.
Construct per design.
2 According to RFI 11 Engineer's answer almost all diameter 50 mm HDPE is changed with 2 inch GS except the lines from water to delivery block, and from Administration to OPD block which has a length of 8 m, but connecting GS pipe with HDPE will cause a lot of leakage. Please clarify.
PROPOSED SOLUTION:
Proposed solution for this: To use GS pipe for the whole water supply line.
Connecting GS pipe with HDPE will not necessarily 'cause a lot of leakage.' This transition has been done at several other TO3 and TO8 sites.
Use HDPE to GS pipe transition fittings per TO8 Submittal 00009 which is an FIO for TO3 Submittal 00030.
