16-May-14 1 On the Site Utilities Plan (SN - OO 1), water supply lines and sewer lines pass behind Delivery, Admin and OPD blocks. However, the space behind these blocks (between the blocks and existing retaining wall) is narrow and impossible to maintain the minimum 3 m horizontal distance between the water lines and sewer lines as stated in SN - 000 (please refer to attached pictures). Please note that the existing manholes are to remain and to be repaired as required as stated in Note 5 (SN - OO 1).
Please clarify.
PROPOSED SOLUTION:
Proposed solution is to use surface mounted GS pipes where it is impossible to maintain the 3 m horizontal spacing.
Solution is acceptable. Water supply lines can be galvanized steel, surface mounted attached with galvanized steel brackets every 1M.
