About this file
This is a specifications document for a toolbox component to be installed on a truck, likely for a state or local government agency's fleet. The toolbox must be constructed of 10-gauge mild steel using all-welded construction with interior dimensions of 18 inches high by 7-3/8 inches wide by 72 inches long. The unit shall feature a hinged door positioned on the driver's side and must be installed adjacent to the hydraulic oil tank, extending lengthwise across the truck chassis. A critical requirement is that the toolbox must be removable during winter snow and ice removal operations to accommodate the installation of liquid spray tanks. The design may incorporate a nonskid top surface to serve as a catwalk, provided it does not interfere with the front dump body's operational capabilities or necessary front dump angle.
The toolbox shall be finished with two coats of primer and at least one topcoat of 3.5 Imron High Gloss Plow Yellow paint. The unit must be securely fastened to either the truck chassis or hydraulic tank frame to ensure stability and durability during vehicle operation. No specific pricing terms, contract amounts, set-asides, response dates, or award information are provided in this specifications document, as it appears to be a technical specification excerpt rather than a complete procurement notice.
