FDEP – Annual Equipment Inventory PSI Proposal: 0552-434408
September 10, 2024 www.intertek.com/building
PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK
The proposal contained herein consists of providing the FDEP with the annual remediation equipment inventory. Specifically, the proposed scope of work consists of the following subtasks:
Subtask 1 - Project Management
This scope is provided for in the template worksheets.
Subtask 2 – Equipment Inventory Visits
PSI will mobilize to the sites under assessment / cleanup by the FDEP Waste Cleanup Section to inventory the various remediation systems owned by the BWC. According to our latest information, there are approximately 94 systems throughout the state which are either operating or stored at these properties, which includes the systems currently not in use at the Lakeland Storage Facility. PSI will conduct the following:
1. Attend FDEP training course for scanning equipment property ID. Approximately seven (7) or eight (8) PSI personnel from our Florida offices are invited to attend the training course.
2. Travel to the properties where remediation systems owned by the FDEP BWC are operating.
3. Scan the equipment using FDEP-owned monitoring devices.
4. Photo-document the condition of each system according to property ID number.
5. Inspect the equipment for the following:
a. Proper FDEP signage is affixed,
b. Document if the system is operating,
c. Document if the system is locked and secured,
d. Document if Investigation Derived Waste (IDW) drums are stored at site and are labeled,
e. General comments on system condition (fencing intact, accessibility).
6. Provide similar services at the Lakeland Storage Facility for all stored remediation equipment.
Subtask 3 - Equipment Inventory Documentation
Compile the data obtained from the physical inspection and submit the Annual Remediation Equipment Inventory to consist of:
1. Photos of each system including those at the storage facility, showing property ID.
2. Tabulate the information and submit an Equipment Inventory list.
