Re: Proposal for FDEP Bureau of Waste Cleanup Annual Remediation Equipment Inventory Statewide Contract HW686

Dear Ms. Schwed:

Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI), an Intertek company, is pleased to provide the proposal contained herein for the annual remediation equipment inventory owned by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Bureau of Waste Cleanup, Waste Cleanup Section (FDEP BWC). Included with this proposal is a discussion of proposed scope of work, cost estimate and level of effort, and a proposed schedule for completion. It is our understanding PSI will not be required to gain additional site access documentation.

PROJECT BACKGROUND

PSI understands that the FDEP BWC owns various remediation equipment in use throughout the state as well at as the equipment storage facility in Lakeland, Florida. As a part of the annual inventory of state-owned property, it is our understanding that the FDEP requests that a physical accounting of the equipment be conducted. The FDEP requires that the equipment property identification (ID) be scanned and uploaded on a Department-owned device which will be provided to PSI. Furthermore, the FDEP will provide training to the PSI staff on the use and operation of the scanning equipment.

PSI understands that we have site access to each of the sites in order to conduct the inventory and that no notification is required to the tenant, property owner, or other contractors who are responsible for the remediation equipment operations.

4. Photo-document the condition of each system according to property ID number.

5. Inspect the equipment for the following:

a. Proper FDEP signage is affixed,
