Re: Restroom Additions, CN212, TA18, 61354C CO2 – Sanitary Sewer Improvements Ponce De Leon State Park 2860 Ponce De Leon Springs Road Ponce de Leon, FL 32455 Holms County
Mr. Cobb, As requested, we are submitting this proposal to include services necessary to prepare Construction Documents, Bidding, Permitting, and Construction Administration Services to replace the existing below grade sewer lines between the restroom/ranger station to the sewer main located across the street from Ponce de Leon State Park.
Only site visits and on-site meetings authorized by BDC will be conducted. Any fees associated with unused site visits would not be invoiced.
Our approach to the project would be as follows:
Subtask 1e: Site Specific Survey, Utility Designation, & Data Collection Description: Steve Stinson & Associates (SSA) will provide site specific topographical survey for the proposed sanitary sewer route from the existing bathhouse and ranger station that will connect to the existing gravity sewer main located on east side of County Road. The survey will include the following:
• Locate all improvements and utilities, as evidenced by above ground features or if designated and marked by the Utility Owners, their designated representative, or a contracted service at the original time of field visit.
• Obtain spot elevations on natural ground and existing improvements suitable for interpolation of one-foot contours to be shown on the final drawing.
• Establish a minimum of two (2) site benchmarks.
• Topographic coverage will be limited to preliminary sewer route provided by George & Associates, Consulting Engineers, Inc.
• Locate trees 12” inch diameter and larger measured at breast height (DBH).
SSA will locate horizontally field marking (paint & flags) all public subsurface utility mains found excluding service lines, gravity sewer lines and irrigation. These marked utilities will be picked up by the topographic survey elements.
Deliverable:
• Site-specific 24”x36” survey, signed and sealed, pdf
• Electronic AutoCAD file, .dwg
Performance Measure: Deliverables will be reviewed by the Department to confirm they are complete, accurate, and timely.
