About this file
This document is a technical specification for stile and rail wood doors, part of a larger federal contract opportunity. The specification covers key requirements for the wood doors, including submittals, delivery and handling, performance standards, and installation. The doors must be fabricated from paint grade material and comply with manufacturer's written instructions. The doors are part of the HAVO 305150 Phase II project to repair and replace infrastructure at the Kilauea Visitor Center in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The overall project includes rehabilitation of the existing visitor center, demolition and replacement of an adjacent comfort station, and expansion of the visitor center lanai. This technical specification does not contain pricing, set-asides, award dates, or other procurement-specific details, but rather outlines the technical requirements for the wood doors.
