Please advise if this would be acceptable. | Amendment 005 changed the solicitation closing date and time from August 12, 2024 at 12:00PM to August 12, 2024 at 4:00PM Mountain Time. | 6 |
| 5 | Can Key Personnel fulfill dual roles such as Superintendent along with safety and Project Manager along with Quality Control? | The specifications do not prohibit the Site Safety Supervisor from fulfilling duel roles. Note that qualifications will still need to be fulfilled and the expectation that the site safety supervisor will execute and establish the Accident Prevention Plan and a safe working environment for personnel and visitors will not diminish with duel roles. For the Quality Control refer to 01 40 00 1.5.B.2 that allows for duel roles. Qualifications still need to be submitted and refer to the remaining section for job duties required and expected. | 6 |

A basis of design product for the chair lift is included in the Arch section of the Product Files. | 7 | |
| 44 | Our truss designer is asking if the specs for the trusses are correct or if it can be reduced? He’s having trouble designing the girder trusses for this job with the loads provided. Please advise. (See graphic to the right) | Note that the loads are provided in PLF (pounds per linear foot) and are already multiplied by 2 due to the 2-ft truss spacing. (Therefore, the 40-plf roof live load equates to a typical 20-psf loading). | 7 | |
| 45 | The plans and Specs are asking for the Switchboard to be a NEMA 4X rated panel. The manufacture listed in the product index do not offer a switchboard that is NEMA 4X and would like to propose a Stainless Steel 304 NEMA 3R rated enclosure in lieu of the NEMA 4X. | The salient requirement is to be NEMA 4X. | 26 32 13 para 2.4 C. says that the fuel tank should be sub-base and 48hr capacity. The 48hr base tank will be roughly 550 gallons adding approx. 24” of height to the genset, this doesn’t look like it will fit in the gen room due to overall height estimated at 84”H and I can’t find the dimensions of the existing generator building on the plans. Please clarify if both a day tank and a sub-base tank are required or one or the other. | Remove the day tank from your bid, see revised drawing. Need to provide 48 hours of runtime, subbase tank can exceed the footprint of the generator. Per basis of design (Generac) a subbase tank will fit with 45 hours of runtime. Coordinate with generator representatives for custom solutions. | 7 | ||
| 65 | Sheet E15 shows a MTS generator docking station, but this is not shown on the one line diagram. Can we have the one line revised showing this MTS? | Remove the docking station from your bid. See revised drawing. | 7 | |
