, w hile the cost estim ate is also attached.
Project Understanding The real property ow ner of the site is Ringling College of Art and Design, Inc., and the form er W hite Sands Cleaners is a unit w ithin a strip m all know n as the Trail Plaza Shopping Center. A previous FDEP contractor initiated start-up of the SVE system in August 2021. Q uarterly sam ples w ere collected from
August 2021 through February 2022. O perations continued until CDM Sm ith becam e the new
FDEP
contractor for the Site. The required O
M activities for this task assignm ent w ere taken from the M ay 2020 ISRP, and the schedule is based on w ork com pleted during rem edial system startup.
O
M services are required for a soil vapor extraction (SVE) system that consists of four vacuum extraction (VE) w ells, SVE blow er, air injection blow er, m oisture separator, and a granulated activated carbon (GAC) vapor treatm ent drum . O ne VE w ell is located on the inside of the building, and three are located outside. SVE operations began in August 2021.
SVE system influent air sam ples are sam pled on a quarterly basis and subm itted for laboratory analysis by United States Environm ental Protection Agency (EPA) M ethod TO
-15 for volatile organic halocarbons.
Air sam ples are collected from the four operating SVE w ells (VE001, VE002, VE003, VE004) on an annual basis and subm itted for laboratory analysis by EPA M ethod TO
