About this file
This is a Register of Wage Determinations issued by the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment Standards Administration for service contracts in Tennessee counties (Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Grainger, Knox, Loudon, Morgan, Roane, and Union). The determination, numbered 2015-4643 (Revision 30, effective December 3, 2025), establishes prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits for service contract employees working on federal contracts subject to the Service Contract Act.
The document lists wage rates for over 300 occupational classifications organized by occupational code, ranging from administrative support and clerical positions ($11.23 to $30.92 per hour) to technical occupations ($11.36 to $47.66 per hour). All listed occupations receive fringe benefits including health and welfare payments of $5.55 per hour (or $222 weekly/$962 monthly), plus vacation accrual (2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 15 years of service), and a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually. Special provisions apply to computer professionals (footnote 1), air traffic controllers and weather observers with night and Sunday pay differentials (footnote 2), and certain hazardous duty positions with 4-8 percent pay differentials. Uniform allowances must be provided at no cost to employees, or reimbursement must be made for cleaning and maintenance. Executive Orders 13706 and 13658 impose additional paid sick leave requirements and minimum wage adjustments for applicable contracts. Contractors must use the Service Contract Act Directory of Occupations to classify unlisted positions and submit conformance requests on Standard Form 1444 when necessary.
