Wage Determination Summary
This document is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division. The determination (No. 2015-5613, Revision 31, effective 12/03/2025) establishes prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits for service contracts performed in California County of Los Angeles. The wage determination applies to occupations across multiple service categories, including administrative support, automotive service, food preparation and service, furniture maintenance and repair, general services and support, health occupations, information and arts, information technology, instructional, laundry and dry cleaning, machine tool operation and repair, materials handling and packing, mechanics and maintenance and repair, personal needs, plant and system operations, protective service, recreation, stevedoring and longshoremen, technical, and transportation/mobile equipment operation occupations.
All listed occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours weekly, $222.00 weekly, or $962.00 monthly), or alternatively $5.09 per hour under Executive Order 13706 ($203.60 weekly or $882.27 monthly) for paid sick leave purposes. Additional benefits include two weeks of paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after five years, and four weeks after 15 years, plus a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually. Specific occupations with footnoted references receive additional compensation: computer employees (Footnote 1) are exempt from wage determination requirements if meeting compensation and duty tests under the Fair Labor Standards Act; air traffic controllers and weather observers (Footnote 2) receive night pay and Sunday pay differentials of 10 percent plus 25 percent premium; and hazardous pay differentials of 8 percent and 4 percent apply to designated ordnance, explosive, and incendiary material work. A uniform allowance of $3.35 per week ($0.67 daily) applies where applicable, with conformance procedures established for unlisted occupations requiring SF-1444 submission.
