About this file

This document is a Department of Defense Clothing and Textiles specification for the All-Range Tactical Clothing (ARTC) Extreme Cold Trouser. The trousers are designed for combat utility in cold weather environments, with a unisex sizing range from XXS to 4XL. The specification details a camouflage (Army OCP Print) trouser constructed from multiple materials including plain weave outer shell, reinforcement nylon, stretch fabric, polyester insulation, and nylon ripstop lining.

Key technical specifications include a complex construction with multiple pattern pieces, precise stitching requirements, and specific performance standards. The trousers feature an adjustable waist, suspender loops, side zippers, drawcords, and are designed for durability and functionality in extreme cold conditions. The document outlines extensive testing requirements for dimensional stability, toxicity, and color matching, with detailed guidelines for manufacturing, quality control, defect tolerance, and inspection methods. The specification is marked for public release with unlimited distribution and is intended for Army combat apparel procurement.
