About this file
This is a Department of Defense Clothing and Textiles technical specification document for the All Range Tactical Clothing (ARTC) Insulated Liner Jacket. The jacket is designed for combat utility in cold weather environments, with a unisex sizing range from XXS to 4XL. The jacket is part of a tactical clothing ensemble, specifically an insulated liner that can be integrated with a hood.
The technical specification details comprehensive requirements for materials, construction, and performance. The jacket will be made primarily from lightweight nylon ripstop in a coyote brown color, with polyester batting insulation and hard-face fleece components. Key construction features include a center front zipper, side pockets, elastic cuffs, and a center back hanger loop. The specification includes extensive guidelines for manufacturing, including precise measurements, acceptable defect levels, testing procedures, and dimensional stability requirements. The jacket must meet specific toxicity and color matching standards, and will undergo rigorous quality control inspections to ensure it meets military performance specifications.
