About this file
This document is a Department of Defense Clothing and Textiles specification for a raw material fabric (Fabric# AR-MTP-24-158) for the Army in 2024. The fabric is a 330D Nylon woven material with a weight of 5.5 oz/yd^2, specifically designed as an Army Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP) print. Key technical specifications include a plain weave with 58 warp threads, 38 filling threads, and 100% nylon continuous filament yarn with a 330 denier count.
The material must meet rigorous military standards, including specific requirements for dimensional stability, break strength, tear strength, colorfastness, and toxicity. Water repellent treatment is required, with minimum spray ratings of 90, 90, 80. The fabric will be delivered in rolled goods with continuous lengths of at least 40 yards, and each roll must be labeled for fiber content. The specification allows use by all Department of Defense agencies and has a Distribution Statement A, indicating approval for public release with unlimited distribution. The known source for this material is listed as Brookwood (Product Code V046).
