About this file

This is a technical specification for a nurse call and code blue communications system at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The specification requires furnishing and installing a complete nurse call and code blue system to replace an existing Rauland Borg Responder 4 system that is no longer supported. The new system must be an upgrade to a Rauland Borg Responder 5 with Enterprise software and hardware. It must interface with other existing systems and support future integration. The specification outlines extensive functional and technical requirements for equipment, interfaces, reporting, staff assignment, and auxiliary alarm monitoring capabilities. Bid responses are due within 10 days of contract award, and the contractor must schedule all inspections and testing to have the system certified and ready for operation on a date directed by the owner.
