About this opportunity
Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District is soliciting proposals for medical consulting services under RFP 26-029V, with proposals due August 26, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. via Bonfire.
The District seeks qualified firms, vendor teams, and integrated vendor platforms to provide consulting and coordination services regarding potential financial assistance for medical expenses, including pharmacy expenses, for the District's 2027 plan year. Services will support current employees and covered dependents enrolled in the District's self-funded group medical plan, as well as former employees and qualified beneficiaries in the COBRA program. The selected respondent will contract exclusively with the District; Masonry Health, retained as the District's independent strategic healthcare advisor, will participate only in an advisory capacity during evaluation, implementation, and oversight, with all vendor selection and contractual decisions remaining solely within the District's authority.
Clarification questions must be submitted in writing through Bonfire. The contact is Terri Canal, CPPB, CTSBO, Purchasing Manager, at tcanal@scucisd.org. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals in its best interest and to waive any formalities or irregularities in the RFP process. Respondents bear full responsibility for timely submission to the specified address. Consistent with Texas Education Code 44.031(b) and Texas Government Code 552.104, proposals are not public information until the District's Board of Trustees has made and accepted a recommendation.
