Questions and Answers (142-143) Date: March 12, 2021
Solicitation Number W50S9F-21-B-0001 F-35 Hangar 406, Madison, Wisconsin
142. Question: The mechanical insulation pages of the specification book (230700/220719) do not match with the insulation schedule tables on drawing pages M-603 and M-612. Can we get clarification of which specification to use?
Answer: Section 23 07 00 has been updated in Amendment 0005 to align with the schedules on the drawings.
143. Question: It is shown in the plans that a fence is placed on the ramp outside the hangar. Typically, on a project like this, Low Profile Airport Barricades are placed 10 feet outside the fence line for additional visibility and delineation. This is not shown on the plans even though the fence extends into the AOA. Based on the plans, there should be 485 linear feet of barricades but is not shown.
Should this be added or is it not required?
Answer: Low profile barriers are not required in front of the temporary project boundary fence line around the hangar.
