Would the Government consider extending the proposal submission deadline by one additional week beyond July 7, 2026, to account for reduced subcontractor and vendor availability and potential delays in obtaining complete and final pricing during the July 4th holiday period?

ANSWER: The proposal due date will be extended to July 21, 2026 in a forthcoming amendment.

NOTICE NO. 10

168. Per Drawing A-501 (Amendment 02), Acoustic Wall Panels AWP-1 and AWP-2 are indicated with dimensions of 3'-6" x 6'-10". However, Interior Elevation A-401 (Amendment 02) continues to show both AWP-1 and AWP-2 as 4'-0" x 6'-10".

1. Please clarify the correct dimensions for AWP-1 and AWP-2.

2. Please provide elevations and/or floor plan references identifying all other locations where these acoustic wall panels are required.

ANSWER: Sheet A-501 provides the correct dimension for AWP-1, AWP-2 as 3’-6” x 6’-10” unless otherwise noted. Will revise Sheet A-401 via forthcoming amendment. Note that some

AWPs will be smaller (but not bigger) than 3’-6”. Will provide additional interior elevations via forthcoming amendment to identify other locations where AWP’s are required.

169. Per Drawings A-502 and A-503 (Amendment 02), partition types are shown; however, the corresponding gauges are not specified.

Please clarify and provide the required metal stud size and gauge for each partition type indicated on the drawings.

Please provide the required batt insulation R-values for the Basic Partitions and Chased Walls, as these values are not indicated in the current drawings.

ANSWER: The R-13 insulation only applies on the perimeter walls where building envelope thermal break is required to meet the energy code compliance. The remaining insulation is for acoustical purposes to meet the project’s specific STC rating requirements.

171. Refer to Specification SECTION 31 00 00 – EARTHWORKS, paragraph 3.4 "When subgrades are less than the specified density, the ground surface must be broken up to a minimum depth of 3-feet or until limestone is reached, pulverized, and compacted to the specified density".

1. There are MH Soils in the boring logs with various depths, does this needs to be removed even if they are in the locations of CDSM?

2. If this MH Soils need to be removed to reach the limestone, what will be the surface area we will consider for removal assuming from the center of the boring logs?

ANSWER: That statement is applicable for footings without CDSM. Footings with CDSM will not require soil removal under the footings, as indicated in para. 3.4 where it instead refers to

Section 31 62 00. Horizontal extent of soil removal is 5 ft from the vertical face of the footings.

This will be incorporated into para. 3.4 via forthcoming amendment.

172. We respectfully request a four (4) week extension to the proposal due date to allow sufficient time to obtain vendor pricing, coordinate subcontractor participation, and thoroughly review the solicitation requirements.Granting this extension will help ensure the submission of complete, accurate, and competitive proposals.
